If you have a family member who doesn't cut their dogs nails or groom them. This is a great gift to help them learn how to do that. All dogs/cats deserve to be groomed regularly and it's therauputic for both owner and pet so it's a win-win situation. I like that it came as a 2 part set, the comb was in its own retail package and the nail clipper and file were in another. So it's actually 2 gifts in one.
