I got a discount on these, so I could give my feedback, and they are definitely interesting. I haven't actually been out walking a lot with them yet. They are sort of a thin rubber with magnets implanted at certain pressure points, to provide sort of an acupressure to your feet as you walk. There are holes throughout the rubber to provide air circulation as well. They seem durable and should last a long time.
