I purchased this for my daughter's (she lives with me) dog Remmi. She's a very messy eater and is always drinking and slobbering. She's a pitbull puppy. I love her but hate finding myself cleaning up the mess around her dogbowl. I love how this set by #Aqueous comes complete w/ a doggy placemat that goes underneath her dog dish. I alsolove that the bowl comes out for easy cleaning and that the water bottle can control the flow of water to the water bowl. The bowl is the perfect size for what she's eating now, and once she outgrows it we can pass it on to the safe shelter in our area , as they're always looking for dog/cat bowls and water dishes. This one does both and can be used for both cats (just about all sizes) and puppies / small dogs. Not for larger dogs though. At $18.99 it's a bargain but if you have Prime right now Amazon is running a special for $12.99!! At this price you'll probably want to buy several and give as gifts to nearby shelters in your area.
