The pooper scooper is pretty easy to assemble its two pieces and there's kind of a buckle in the middle similar to one on a helmet or a stroller. The buckle just clips in to the other piece so you just kind of need to push on the bucket and push on the handle and then put the two pieces together, it took me a minute to figure it out because it popped out the first time but it was really pretty simple.
