The dog bed is made of an egg crate that provides good support for your dog.  The outside is a zip cover thats easy to remove and wash.  There is a nonslip bottom that keeps the bed in place and doesn't slip or slide.  Our 70 lb puppy loves his bed!  Highly recommend!
