I know that these are for dogs but I decided to purchase them for my 3 ferrets. Their nails grow so fast. I just loved the ease of using these. They are nice and sharp and cut through the nail very easily. The ergonomic handles are so great to grasp and they are non slip so you dont have to worry about them slipping out of your hand. The nail file that came with it was great. It didnt hurt my ferrets at all. It also came with a pair of scissors which I used on my pom and they worked great as well.
