I was pleased that this trash can was so small, it fit perfectly on my desk. I was disappointed because there is no way to remove the "lid" in order to clean it out, you have to try to get everything to come out while you hold it upside down and have the swing top open. It's kind of a pain to clean out. Looks nice but not user friendly
