This is made of neoprene and velcro, you can smell some chemical scent when you take it out of its bag.
I am not a super strong person therefore it surprised me when the top velcro ripped off the base as soon as I pulled it, I haven't even inserted a gun yet. The fit was weird, but I need to check if I put it too low on my ankle.
I'll try it 2nd time and then decide to keep or return it.
