I have no clue what this thing is made of but it's pretty awesome!!! living here in texas and it's been raining a lot lately around dallas area. put these things on the rear view mirror and it's been working like a charm! Overall, they get the job done and you won't be disappointed. These are pretty easy to install also, like putting a screen protector on your mirror.
