Perfect for a medium size dog.

This leash is nice. It is strong enough to give a medium size dog (under 80 pounds) enough resistance to know they are on a leash yet still gives them the ability to movearound uo to 16 feet away. Unless the leash is locked. The thumb slip lock holds in place quite nicely. The retraction action is smooth and not too forceful as to yank the dog or you  around. The handle is easy to grip and comfortable to hold even for long walks.
