Super cute but runs extremely very small!

I purchased this Santa Paws doggy t-shirt by #Aida for our dog who is a Pittbull puppy named Buckshot.  I bought an extra large but this is made for a much smaller dog. It's super cute so rather than send it back decided to donate it to the dog no kill shelter for a holiday gift for one of the dogs to be adopted . At $9.99 I expected a much better fit which is why I removed 2 stars. If it fit properly I'd have given this 5 stars.
