The first one I received the stand broke but they quickly sent a new one. It is very bright and the settings allow different levels of brightness. It also has a timer on it so it will go off after a certain amount of time. It seems to be working very good. So far it has helped because my office does not have a window and this allows me to feel like I have sunlight in the room.
