This Amurgo LED camping lantern is very very bright. It is amazing how bright it is from such a small compact flashlight. It takes 3 AA batteries. Just twist the bottom and put inset. Pull up on the handles and that turns the light on, close it to turn it off. It has a hook to hang the lantern and also has magnets on the nottom to stick it to something metal. I haven't tried it for waterproof but it says that it is which is great for hurricane season or camping or even boat rides. This is an awesome little latern flashlight. A must have for any emergency kit.
