Self-noise when the DAC clicks on is noticeable... Not enough to ruin the music, but not the silent self noise that the Spirit Pros had. Sometimes does not auto-reconnect when going out of range or on powering up. Announcer that comes on to tell you the battery percentage, etc is louder than I would like, and there's no way to turn her down. Volume steps are a little coarse, I would prefer about twice or three times as many volume steps, especially in the lower volume range that I usually listen in. SBC (including SBC-XQ) and AAC are the only codec options (no LDAC, AptX, etc). AAC does a great job, but isn't as widely compatible as some of the others. Noise isolation I would equate to maybe NRR 6-8 or so, enough to take the edge off the ~55db 3d printer 1m away, but not enough to really cut noise in my tractor cab (~75dB) or near electric chainsaw noise (~85dB) much. So not an earplug per se but does isolate enough for quieter environments. Controls can be a little hard to perceive through even thin gloves, I would prefer a little more difference in size or shape for each of the 3 buttons.
