I injured my knee and was able to use this ice pack to relieve the discomfort I was experiencing. Sometimes when the day is too long, and the stress on the joint is  too much, it is helpful to cool off those joints with a cool gel wrap. It doesn't freeze solid, which I appreciate, but it is the right temperature to provide much-needed relief.
