The scrapper feels nice, sturdy and solid. Feel strong enoulgh to get ice off the window. I haven't been able to test that, so I'm basing it off on how it feels in my hand after getting it. I live in the desert, Las Vegas, but I do plan on traveling in my car later in the year and I wanted this as a just in case I do pass areas that I'll have to scrape or clean off the windows. Good purchase!
