This is a simple desk ”decor”. It seems to be of a sturdy foam material that flakes while putting together. 

This is an ”assembly required” item. It is easy however so my kid was able to put together with by herself. 

It kinda snaps in place. Would be very easy to let someone personalize with markers or paint. Holds phone very well. I am not worried about it falling apart.
