My cat really doesn't enjoy being brushed, she will never stay in one spot for long enough for me to brush her thoroughly. She surprisingly didn't hate this brush as much as others I've tried in the past. It isn't the most effective for removing mats, However the fact that she will actually let me brush her makes it more effective than most other brushes.
