This is the first time I've ever used anything like this before for seatbelts. I have a short neck so the seatbelt is constantly rubbing my neck or chin the wrong way and it's so annoying! So I've been putting the strap under my arm. This isn't safe! So I was looking for an alternative. I've tried towels and small pillows. Nothing helped. And if they did, they never stayed in place. Which is why I'm glad to have found these! They stay in place and are super comfortable to use.
