I like to think I am totally tech savvy, but i'm not. I wanted a way to watch movie content and recorded videos from my phone on my tv.
This thing is exactly what I needed!
I hooked it up to my tv for a quick test so I could leave an accurate review. I wasn't sure if i'd even figure it out.
It was SO SIMPLE! I plugged the HDMI from my tv to my phone, plugged the lightning/usb cable from the adapter to a power sourse and BOOM...Video on my tv from my phone.
Worked PERFECTLY!
I did try to take a photo of it in action but as you can imagine the tv mirrored everything my phone saw!
