If you are looking for a recorder to play within a group this one is not for you, however it does have a very clear rich sound and if you're just playing for fun this is a good fit. I love the color and the choices of colors are broad. Perfect for a kid to just start learning. It is not really well tuned but the cleaning rod is a nice touch as is the nice bag it comes in. Overall 7/10 would get for a child not for a band.
