Due to hearing loss, regular iPad sound isn't loud enough for me, but I'm more comfortable wearing headphones than hearing aids. Since I often watch movies and TV on my iPad, this has become a necessity. Sound is clear, great volume, and my iPad stays charged through all day (or all night) use.
