Neither of my 2 dogs like getting their nails done but I also feared clipping them too short... This has an adjustable guard that doesn't let you do that and even though it vibrates a like stronger than expected it definitely works. My dogs are also very different sizes ( 55# and 6# respectively) A safer easier option than traditional clippers that works for both of them. Love it!
