cute pretend bakery treat set

Super cute food toy! My daughter loves it. I love that the cake and ice cream cones have Velcro on them and can be easily attached and detached. This feature makes it much more fun for her to play with. The knife is rounded and has no sharp edges and is easy for her to hold and slice through the Velcro pieces of cake. She loves putting them back together afterwards. The macaroon cookies can be opened and put back together but it’s not something a small child may be able to do on their own. My only concern are the small little topper decorations on each cupcake. They go in and out easily, for play, which makes them a choking hazard. I would not let a child who might put things in their mouth play with those parts without 100% supervision or just put those small pieces away until the child is older. I know this toy is recommended for three years and up, but I would still be wary of a three-year-old having the small pieces without good supervision. My daughter and I play together with this set. She pretends to bake the items in her kitchen and then hold a bake sale. So fun!
