I already had a set of these so I knew I would love them.  However, the new zoom feature on these is outstanding.  The light is super bright when you are looking at something close, and covers a large area.  But, when you zoom out and the light turns into a square,  you can see a really long distance and it is still really bright!  I could catch the deer at the edge of our property trying to eat my garden.  I'm keeping one of these in my car and one in the house.  Wow!  I really like these.  I just wish they had come with batteries.  They each  take 3 AAA batteries that weren't encluded.
