I don't know how useful and functional they would be for an adult but my girls have blast with those. Both gloves worked straight out of the package, on/off buttons were easy to push even for my 2.5 yo daughter. Haven't changed batteries yet and so far no issue other than paint that indicates on/off rubs off. To me it's not a biggie and personally prefer writing off the button anyways. Would I consider using them myself for something other than have fun with kids? Very unlikely. However I am sure other people would find better use for these.
Fabric is stretchy and most certainly would fit an adult with big hands.
