I got this mostly for going to sport games in the fall and winter when standing outside for hours in the rain and snow leaves my hands frozen. I think it will work nicely for that- plus you can charge your phone from it- bonus! It's large enough to warm my hands, and small enough to not be too obtrusive in a coat pocket.
