A simple idea that makes cooking prep easier & faster. We make large batches (several dozen) of hamburger patties at a time to cook & freeze. Whenever we need a quick meal it's easy to defrost & heat in the microwave. This quality press is made of aluminum & very light weighted compared to others. My husband attached it to a board which he sanded & sealed, then glued a rubber mat to the bottom. This prevents it from moving around while using it. It's best to use wax paper squares below & on top of the meat so it doesn't creep up into the gap around the edge of the top of the press.

The only bad things is that it doesn't come with instructions.
