I've typically used the pencil style tire pressure gauge, however -- those gauges have two issues: they aren't very accurate and they break easily. This gauge seems quite sturdy and accurate and I am very happy with using it. The led back lit display makes it easy to use, even at night. It's great to just throw in the glove box in case of emergencies.
