The cords are nicely covered in a braided nylon type of cord. They feel of very good quality and seem like they're going to last for a while. We use them to charge our tablets and my youngest sons phone you can never have too many charging cords as we always seem to lose them or have a pet chew on them. Very happy with the purchase.
