It protects the case like it should. This is way better than the regular wallet cases that open and close on the front of the phone. These are very easy to manage and simpler to use. I definitely recommend if you need storage but don’t want your phone to look like the typical wallet cases. This is some new style. Plus it comes with a screen protector and an extra clear case if you get tired of the other case and want to switch it out so believe I got a steal.
