This is a great wall outlet for freeing up outlet plugs while being able to charge your devices.
You can rest your device in the top little holding area while it charges.
Not sure what happened to the box it came in. It was completely opened and looked to have been at some point saturated with oil.
All in all though it had not effect on the product itself.
Very happy with this purchase. Works perfectly.
