I am currently using a wireless mouse with a dongle for my laptop whose built-in mouse pad doesn't work right. But I wanted to have a back-up in case the wireless one ever broke. This is a basic wired mouse that works fine. It's very lightweight. The cord is more than long enough to reach from either side of the computer. When I used it for the first time my laptop downloaded or installed (by itself) a driver so it could be used, and then it worked fine.
No complaints. It's a basic mouse, but works fine.
