It's a nice beginner set for little explorers and will be perfect for my 5 yo. My 9 yo daughter already had her own set... I actually bought all the pieces separately and it cost way more than this. So price wise I think it's good.
We haven't had a chance to go outdoors for an adventure but it will certainly happen. I've checked all of the pieces in the set and everything looks intact.
