I bought this for my sons phone as the one he had was to thin and he’s always killing the battery on his phone. It’s a little hard to open if you get your nails done. I had to use tweezers to open the case. But once I opened it it wasn’t that hard to put on. You do have to charge the case in order to charge your phone. Otherwise you will have to take the phone out if the case everyday to charge it.
