My desk is clean!

I have a sweet tooth and almost always have a bag of candy somewhere in the house, typically on my desk. And most of the time that candy has wrappers. Most of my trash ends up in a pile on the desk until I am done and clear it off. When I saw this countertop trash can, I knew it would make a huge difference for the mess I can make in a single sitting at my desk.   This trash can is simple, but effective. It is not overly large so doesn't take up a lot of space on my desk. It has a 1.5 liter capacity, if that gives you any indication of how big it actually is. It is 4.7" in diameter and 6.5" tall. The only problem I have is that I like to use trash bags and don't believe they make small enough ones for something like this. But I am going to hunt around and see if I can find anything!   It is made of stainless steel that has a nice brushed finish. Because it is stainless steel, it WILL show your fingerprints, though the brushed finish does help hide them better than something shiny. The top came inside the cannister during shipping, but snapped in to place on the two pegs easily. No tools needed. The top then swivels and flips on the pegs always ending in a closed position when done and hiding away your trash within.   I am very pleased with how nice this looks on my desk. It is a bit strange to have a trash can ON the desk, but it is so convenient I don't mind.
