I'm just starting to use brush on paints in my rock painting, so I needed some palettes, but nothing fancy. Yet the ones from the dollar store didn't have enough wells for various paint colors, and some mixing. These are just the right size for about as many paint colors I'd use doing a rock painting. They're just thin plastic, I suppose meant to be disposable, and I did throw away the first one I used. But in the future, I plan to rinse them off and clean them in the future and reuse them as many times as I can. I only use acrylics, so won't be a big deal to clean them after use. And I usually finish a rock in one sitting, so don't need to save my paint mixtures. I'm very happy with them and will undoubtedly order more in the future when I've used these up and worn them all about.
