Yay

The charger came sooner than promised, and was packaged appropriately. I have used it about a week on both Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S9 phones, and it does what it is supposed to do: charge the phone quickly. The blue light on the base turns green when charging, and to a dimmer blue when charging is complete. The cord is 1 m long, and has a micro-USB connector on the end that plugs into the stand. The brushed aluminum stand has rubber pads on the bottom, so is kind to any surface you may set it on. The image shows the unit charging my S9 phone.
