I got this to do a special project for my mother's 80th birthday-- it is a neat way to do something very bespoke for someone-- you could put childhood memories in it, memories of a beloved pet, or pics to commemorate a wedding or trip etc.  It is quite compact and then expands to be impressive.  A really unique gift idea!
