After getting the cable in the mail and testing it out, the cable worked like it should. The cable did have a weird smell to it at first, but after a while, the smell went away. Looking at the connector of the cable itself, it is 2 pieces connected to each other instead one whole piece. It would be nice if it was one piece. The cable is definitely not worth the $79 price point, but with the discount it was okay.
