This water fountain was easy to put together. You simply rinse off the filter and insert it in the bowl. At first I thought it was too noisy. Then I realized I just didn’t have enough water in it. That’s an easy way to tell when it needs more water added. When it has enough water, it makes a very pleasant water sound. We have young kittens so they were hesitant of it at first but adapted quickly.
Update after using it for awhile. It really does a great job of filtering the water! I cleaned out the bowl with just a simple wipe of a rag and changed the filter. The filter was half yellowish brown and half white. I could have probably just flipped it to continue using that one awhile longer, but I replaced it with the second filter that came with the fountain. Time to order more!
