got this magnetic calendar to help with basic communication within the home. While I tend to keep a more detailed calendar on my phone, I use the magnetic one as a quick reminder of upcoming things. It's compact enough to fit on one side of the fridge without taking up all the space, yet still large enough to add quite a bit to each day. It comes with 3 different colored dry erase markers (that each have an eraser on the cap) and an eraser, all of which have a magnet on them as well.
I was pleasantly surprised with how this set was packaged for shipping. I was expecting to receive the calendar rolled up, and maybe a bit creased, but it was shipped flat and protected from damage.
