This worked great with my Yamaha P-35 after I figured out why at first it did not work. Tried for 2 days to link with my Apple laptop and just could not get it to work. Then I read one of the reviews about reversing the in/out cables. The in was put in the out and the out in the in. Success it worked perfect. Don't know why it had to be reversed but it works great and I saved about $30 from the Yamaha midi cord. So, if your cord won't just reverse the cables and that should fix it, I know it's crazy but it works !!!
