The first thing I would mention is that the packaging alone should earn a 5-star review. It looks like a lot of attention was given to presentation, that sadly, I wish was used on the actual headphones themselves. The cord is very low quality. It has a very hard plastic feel I don't think the bends and kinks in the cord will ever lose its shape from the packaging. Without seeing the earbuds themselves, it would appear that you were using a cheap $5 pair. The earbuds do look nice and are admittedly very unique. I feel like this is the only saving grace for this product. If you are going for an earthy look, you can't beat the natural wood. The round disc is also somewhat uncomfortable and prohibits the earbuds from fitting properly in the ear canal. This could potentially just be a problem with people with smaller ears, but I kept feeling like I wish these could go into my ear just a bit further, but the disc prevents it.
These do not quite deliver in the sound that they promise. There is no rich bass at all. Maybe you could change equalizer settings to get it to pop out, but using default settings in most music apps showed nothing to be excited about. The sound is also a bit open and "airy". This may be an effect of the wood, but I personally did not like it. The middle range also slightly washes out the higher and lower frequencies.
