I got a deal on this through Rank Booster and I'm really glad I got it! It's much nicer than I expected. Very heavy feeling, solid pen. It's got the glass breaker tip on it and metal body with tactical styling, so you can get a good grip on it if you need to use it for defense. I had to laugh when I was reading the description on Amazon, though. It say you can use it if you need to defend yourself against a bear or homeless person. I really like it a lot, but to think you could defend yourself against a bear with it is a bit of a stretch. But definitely it could be helpful against a would-be mugger or other human opponent, if needed. And the glass breaking feature is nice to have, in case of emergencies.
As far as the pen itself, it writes nicely and come with two extra refills. The cap screws on, which is nice. It won't fall off in my purse and get lost. And if I'm wanting to use it for self-defense, I don't need to lose my grip on it because the cap came off.
I think this is a great tactical pen and would definitely recommend it!
