Excellent sound quality while not blocking local sounds

This is a bluetooth headset that doesn't cover or pug your ears. Instead,it produces the sound by conducting it through your bones. I am not sure exectly how it works, but it does so excellently. They say it conducts crystal clear sound by conducting sound to the brain through the jaw and cheekbones.

The main reason for using these is that it does not block your ears and, at low volume levels, you can listen and converse with others. It is a technology used for years my the military but now it is available to the ordinary person. It really works very well.
