I chose to purchase this personalized dog collar because my dog is 1 year old and has already chewed up 3 ID tags. I needed to get something that wasn't hanging off of the collar. This personalized color is perfect. I have it personalized with his name and phone number. The collar is made of fabric. I purchased the blue collar with the red lettering. The red shows up very well with the blue background. The price was very reasonable.
