I got this for my granddaughter so she could practice braiding hair.  It is nice quality but not 100 percent real hair.  There is a warning on the box not to get it wet.  It is a mixture of real hair and synthetic hair.  That being said, It does a good job of helping my granddaughter learn to braid, because the weave is tight and full.
