Awesome zoom power!!!

 

I honestly have no need for a zoom lens, but when I saw this kit I knew I had to try it out. It just looks cool! I didn't care how well it worked, so long as it did work. But it is quite impressive!   It comes with the lens which zooms 18x, a cloth to clean it, a cover for the end that goes over your phone, the clip to attach the lens to your phone, a hotshoe attachment to hold your phone, the tripod that collapses on itself for compact carrying and storage, a bag to keep the lens itself in, and directions for setting it all up. I am glad there is a bag for the lens, but wish there was an additional bag for everything. I have to find one in my storage suppllies so that I can keep the different parts together for easy transport and use.   The tripod legs swivel out to form the base to mount it all on. The clip attaches to your phone and tightens down so that it won't open. The hotshoe screws on to the top of your tripod base, which gives you the ability to hold the phone on its own instead of you having to hold it. The lens, once the protective cap is removed from the end, screws on to the end of your phone attachment. Once all of this is assembled you can put your phone in to the hotshoe bracket. I thought it might still be too top heavy, having that large lens sticking out so far (and it is quite a heavy lens, too), but the tripod design keeps it steady and allows you to set it up without having to stabilize it with your hands. It is a nice set up and only takes a few minutes to do.   I was actually quite impressed by what I was able to see with the lens. Once I opened my camera, I was able to see quite far with it, allowing for some great pictures of things the normal zoom on my camera is unable to capture. It doesn't blur or leave you with grainy images, even if they are far out. I wasn't sure how well that would work since the normal zoom always leaves me with fuzzy images. But I was able to get some great shots that look amazing. I think this is going to be a lot of fun to use when I am out doing more nature like stuff or watching kids at Scouting events or baseball games! I can't wait to see what I can capture. Maybe I might be able to start getting some impressive shots like my brother gets now! (I doubt it since he has thousand dollar lenses for his professional camera.)   Great zooming lens kit!
