~ What ~
Made of ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), this set contains 4 molds to make dental mouth guards to protect teeth. With 2 small guards and 2 large ones that can be cut and adjusted to fit one’s mouth, it also has a protective case to keep it in. All pieces arrive in a gift box with instructions.

~ Why ~
I have been wearing a mouth guard for years and it is getting groudy and calcifying so I like the idea of making a new, less-expensive one that fits my mouth. By boiling water and softening the guard, it can mold to one’s teeth. Being able to trim it is a plus. I found it was easy to conform to my mouth and that it was more comfortable to wear.

~ Why Not ~
Some may not like having to wear a mouth guard at night, but it does help keep them from grinding when sleeping. Others may prefer a professional mouth guard, although they can be pricey and expensive.

~ Wish ~
It should be noted online that the set is mainly for 1 or 2 guards even though 4 are included since there are 2 of each size. The instructions state they should only be worn for a month and then discarded; I wish they would last longer.

~ Want ~
If you do know you are grinding your teeth at night and do not want to go to the dentist to be fitted for a mouth guard, this pack may help as it is easy to make and comfortable to wear.
